Hydrocyclones are primarily used in mineral processing for classification, separation, concentration, and desliming. When employed as classification equipment, they mainly form closed-circuit grinding systems with mills; when used as desliming devices, they remove slimes in gravity separation plants; when serving as concentration/dewatering equipment, they thicken processing tailings for backfilling underground mining cavities.
