How to Replace The Bearings of The Vibration Motor?

The vibrating motor is the main source of excitation for the vibrating screen. The vibration motor uses heavy-duty bearings, which can carry a certain axial load. Regardless of the installation direction, the bearing life is not affected by the axial load force. The following are the replacement method and steps of the vibration motor bearing.

1. Dismantle the bearing

A. Remove the protective cover at both ends of the vibration motor and record the percentage value of the excitation force when the eccentric block is working, so that it can be restored to the original working state during installation.

B. Remove the shafts at the two shaft ends with retaining rings.

C. Loosen the fastening bolts of the outer eccentric block and remove the outer eccentric block. Loosen the fastening bolts of the inner eccentric block, and remove the inner eccentric block.

D. Remove the bearing seat compression bolts, screw into the bearing seat removal screw holes with appropriate bolts, and push the bearing seat out of the housing.

E. Remove the bearing gland from the bearing seat, press out the bearing from the bearing seat or push it out with a suitable bolt.

F. If the bearing is a cylindrical roller bearing with a separable inner and outer sleeve, the inner sleeve of the bearing should be removed from the shaft and placed in the original bearing outer sleeve.

G. Thoroughly clean the oil stains of all parts.

2. Install the bearing

When the vibration motor is replaced with a new bearing, the same bearing as the original model must be used.

A. Wash the bearing with kerosene and press it into the bearing seat. Fill the rollers of the outer ring of the bearing with lithium grease to be two-thirds full. Spread evenly with clean hands, and install the bearing gland. Press the bearing gland with fastening bolts coated with bolt anti-loosening glue.

B. The bearing is a cylindrical roller bearing with a separable inner and outer sleeve. The inner sleeve of the bearing should be sleeved on the rotating shaft and in place.

C. Install the bearing seat on the housing. If there is a grease filling hole, the position must be aligned. Use fastening bolts coated with bolt anti-loosing glue to compress the bearing seat.

D. The inner and outer eccentric blocks are installed on the rotating shaft and are in place. Those with shaft keys should install the shaft key in the keyway and then install the outer eccentric block, and install the shaft retaining ring on the shaft.

E. Tighten the fastening bolts of the eccentric block, turn the adjustable eccentric block to the angular position before removal, and tighten the fastening bolts. After the above assembly is completed, the rotating shaft should have a certain axial movement.

F. Install the protective cover at both ends of the vibration motor and fasten it with screws.
