The Effect Of Vibrating Screen Motor Angle On Screening Effect

Date: 2023-09-28     From: Longding     Author: admin

The vibrating screen uses eccentric blocks installed on the upper and lower ends of the motor shaft to convert the rotational motion of the vibrating motor into horizontal, vertical, and tilted three-dimensional motion, and then transmits this motion to the screen surface. Different phase angles also have different screening effects. So how to adjust the appropriate phase angle as needed?

Effect of adjusting the vibration motor angle on the vibrating screen

1. When the phase angle is 0 degrees, the raw material flows straight from the center to the circumferential direction. It is mainly used for rough classification, that is, for screening materials that are easy to screen into a large number of coarse particles.

2. When the phase angle is 45 degrees, the material begins to swirl. Mainly used for general screening.

3. When the phase angle is 60 degrees. The material undergoes long vortex motion. It is mainly used for precise classification of differentials and materials with high cohesion and high moisture content.

4. When the phase angle is above 90 degrees, the materials are concentrated toward the center. Mainly used for screening for special purposes.

5. The greater the inclination angle, the better the screening effect

When the power of the vibration motor matches the model of the vibrating screen, the inclination angle of the vibration motor adopts the standard angle: of 45 degrees. If the inclination angle of the screen is increased, the horizontal stress on the objects on the screen will be reduced, the up-and-down jump amplitude of the screen surface will be increased, and the forward movement speed of the material will be slowed down, so that the effect of fine screening can be achieved. That is, the screening effect is good.

6. The reducer the inclination angle, the higher the screening efficiency

Reducing the inclination angle of the vibrating screen motor is generally used in rough screening work that pursues screening efficiency. Reducing the motor inclination angle under the standard 45-degree inclination angle will cause the horizontal force on the screen objects to increase, that is, the material will jump up and down on the screen surface to a lower extent. The material moves forward quickly, which will increase the material screening output per hour, thus improving the screening efficiency.
