The Types of Slurry Pumps

Date: 2022-01-20     From: Longding     Author: admin

There are various types of slurry pumps. Industrial pump selection should be selected not only according to the purpose and function of the pump, but also according to the structure and installation location. LZZG details how to classify the slurry pump. The slurry pump is a centrifugal pump with high efficiency and relatively strong performance evolved due to the large material transport particles. At present, it is one of the indispensable equipment in various technological processes of coal preparation plants.

The types of slurry pumps

1. Classification by model

ZJ series slurry pump, ZJL series slurry pump, ZGB series slurry pump, SP series slurry pump, AH/HH/M/L series slurry pump that fraction series slurry pump, etc.

2. Classification by function

Slurry pump, desulfurization pump, dredging pump, mud pump, clean water pump, sewage pump, gravel pump, etc.

3. Classification by impeller suction mode

A. Single side inlet pump: Also called a single-suction pump, that is, there is only one water inlet on the impeller.

B. Double side inlet pump: Also known as a double suction pump, that is, there is a water inlet on each side of the impeller. Its flow is twice as large as that of a single-suction pump, which can be approximated as two single-suction pump impellers placed back-to-back.

4. Classification by pump shaft position

A. Horizontal pump: Pump shaft in the horizontal position.

B. Vertical pump: Pump shaft in vertical position.

5. Classification by pump the number of impellers

A. Single-stage pump: There is only one impeller on the pump shaft.

B. Multistage Pump: There are two or more impellers on the pump shaft. At this time, the total head of the pump is the sum of the heads produced by the n impellers.

6. Classification by the impeller outlet mode

A. Volute pump: After the water comes out of the impeller, it directly enters the pump casing with the shape of the helix.

B. Vane pump: After the water comes out of the impeller, it enters the guide vanes set outside, and then enters the next stage or flows into the outlet pipe.

7. Classification by working pressure

A. Low-pressure pump: Pressure below 100 meters water column.

B. Medium pressure pump: pressure is between 100~650 meters of the water column.

C. High-pressure pump: Pressure above 650m water column.

8. Classification by the pump housing

A. Horizontal split pump: There is a joint seam on the horizontal plane passing through the axis line.

B. Vertical joint surface pump: The joint surface is perpendicular to the axis line.
