Slurry pump maintenance includes planned maintenance and unplanned maintenance. Planned maintenance is carried out regularly according to the management experience and equipment status of production equipment. Unplanned maintenance refers to the sudden failure or accident during the operation of the equipment, which must be carried out without stopping or stopping for maintenance.

Pump shaft overhaul

1. Clean and inspect the pump shaft. If there is wear, crack, and erosion, it should be recorded in detail and repaired.

2. Centrifugal oil pump shaft straightness. Its value should not be greater than 0.05mm in overall length. There shall be no defects such as grooves on the surface of the journal.

3. The parallelism error between the centerline of the keyway of the centrifugal pump and the centerline of the shaft should be less than 0.03mm/100.

4. The shaft diameter is allowed to bend no more than 0.013mm. For a low-speed pump shaft, the middle part is not more than 0.07mm, and for a high-speed pump shaft, the middle part is not more than 0.04mm.

5. The surface of the shaft is smooth, without cracks, wear, etc.

6. Shaft and shaft sleeve adopt H7/h6.

Measurement of Shaft Bending

The bending of the pump shaft will cause an imbalance of the rotor and the wear of the dynamic and static parts. Therefore, the bending degree of the pump shaft should be measured during the overhaul.

1. Put both ends of the shaft on the V-shaped iron smoothly and firmly.

2. Then support the dial indicator so that the measuring rod points to the shaft head. Measure the radial runout of the shaft, ie the shake.

3. Half of the shake is the bending value of the axis.

Impeller overhaul

1. Clean and inspect the impeller surfaces at all levels. The surface of the impeller should be free from defects such as cracks and wear.

2. Check the sealing rings of the impeller suction inlet and discharge outlet at all levels, and there should be no looseness.

3. The impeller and shaft adopt interference fit, generally H7/h6.

Overhaul of bearings

1. The ovality and taper of the shaft diameter cannot be greater than one-thousandth of the shaft diameter.

2. The roughness of shaft diameter surface Ra<1.6um.

3. The contact area between the shaft diameter and bearing bush should not be less than 60°~90°. There should be no traces of corrosion on the surface.

4. The shell and the bearing should be in close contact.

5. The tightening force between the bearing cover and the bearing bush is not less than 0.02-0.04mm.

6. The outer diameter of the ball bearing cannot be in contact with the inner wall of the bearing housing.

7. The contact between the outer ring of the rolling bearing with radial load and the inner wall of the bearing box adopts H7/h6 fit.
