1. The tension of the vibrating screen mesh is not enough, which causes the mesh to vibrate. The broken or damaged is usually along the screen edge or edge bead.

2. The screen quality is unqualified. The screen mesh generally has an upper screen layer and a lower force layer, which requires a close fit between the two layers. If the pre-tensioning process of the screen is poor, when the force layer at the bottom of the screen is tightened, the screen layer is not tightened, the throwing force of the drill cuttings is greatly reduced during operation, and the cuttings cannot be discharged.

3. The motor is in the wrong direction. If the motor rotates to the inside by mistake, although the projection angle is also forward 45°, the drill cuttings have the force to roll backward. At this time, the forward movement speed of the drill cuttings is much slower, and they stay on the screen for a long time. As a result, the cuttings cannot be discharged.

Solution

1. When the screen box is running, press the stop button of the electric control box, and the vibrating screen will slowly stop at this time. Observe the elliptical trajectory formed by the small points on the side plate when the vibrating screen is running, and roll to the sand outlet for correct steering.

2. Remove the shield of the vibrator and check whether the eccentric blocks rotate outward.

3. Swap any 2 phase wires in the incoming power supply of the electric control box, and sprinkle some sand on the screen, the one with the faster sand discharge speed is the correct direction.

4. The vibration amplitude of clay accumulation is too small, and it is difficult to screen under the condition of polymer drilling fluid, which leads to the accumulation of drill cuttings on the screen and rapid damage to the screen.

5. Increase the vibration amplitude.

6. Flush the screen and cuttings with sprayed water to reduce the stickiness of the cuttings. But this method is only suitable for occasions where adding water is allowed.

7. Replace the mesh of the vibrating screen or adjust the flow rate of the single screen to ensure that the flow dead point of the drilling fluid is close to the screen outlet, so that the drilling cuttings can be smoothly discharged under the lubrication of the drilling fluid.
