The vibration motor is installed with eccentric blocks at both ends of the motor shaft, and high-speed rotation is used to generate the exciting force to drive the equipment to work. Due to the particularity of its structure, its service life is shorter than ordinary motors. 1. Loosening of anchor bolts

This is one of the main failures that cause the vibration motor to burn out. Due to the special structure of the vibrating motor, the exciting force generated by the eccentric blocks at both ends will impact the anchor bolts up to 2,000 times per minute. In addition to the vibration of the vibration motor itself, the anchor bolts are very easy to loosen. Once a certain bolt is loose, it will cause other bolts to loosen or even break within a short period of time, thus burning the motor.

Precaution

A. Reinforce the anchor bolts frequently.

B. Increase the anti-loosening device.

C. Ensure good contact between the ground and the motor floor, so that several anchor bolts are evenly stressed.

D. Try to use the vibration motor integrated with the shell and seat. Because the ground surface is processed at one time, its level can be guaranteed.

2. Installation problem

Heavy eccentric blocks are installed at both ends of the vibration motor. If it is installed vertically or obliquely (the shaft is vertical or inclined to the horizontal plane), the bearing will bear the gravity of the eccentric block in the axial direction. If there is no special device (plane bearing) in the vibration motor, it will have a bad effect on the bearing, thereby shortening the service life.

A. Choose a vertical vibration motor (with plane bearings added inside).

B. Try to avoid vertical or inclined installation.

3. Adjustment problem of eccentric block

If the direction of the eccentric block is reversed, the vibrating motor will generate a space torque, which will cause the vibrating motor to work in an abnormal state, which will cause burning. Therefore, when adjusting the eccentric block, we must pay attention to its symmetry, that is, the eccentric blocks at both ends should correspond to each other.

4. Sealing of the protective cover

The working environment of vibration motors is mostly very harsh and dusty. If the protective cover is not tightly sealed, it is easy for dust to enter, causing the frictional operation of the eccentric block, thereby burning the motor. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the sealing of the protective cover, and to clean the dust inside the protective cover frequently.

5. Ambient temperature

Material temperature can not be too high. The vibration motor is rigidly connected to the equipment. If the temperature of the material conveyed by the equipment is too high, it will easily cause the temperature of the ground and the casing of the vibration motor to increase, resulting in difficulty in heat dissipation, thus burning the motor.

Precaution

A. On the premise of not affecting the equipment, try to keep the vibration motor away from high-temperature materials.

B. Find ways to reduce the temperature of the material.

6. Cooling problem

The vibration motor has no fan to dissipate heat, relying entirely on natural cooling. In addition, the dust is large, and the dust is easy to accumulate on the surface of the motor, which will cause the internal temperature to be too high and burn the motor.

Precaution

A. Frequently remove dust from the surface of the motor to keep it working in good condition.

B. When designing, the surface of the vibrating motor should be as smooth as possible so that dust is not easy to accumulate.
