How To Choose A Suitable Vibration Motor For Vibration Machinery?

The vibration motor simplifies the structure, design method, and design process of the vibration machine, and many new vibration machines are produced by combining multiple vibration forms. So how to choose a suitable vibration motor for the vibration machine?

1. Determine the motor vibration times and double amplitude

Vibration motor: Level 2, Level 4, Level 6

Vibration times: 2-pole motor, 3000 rpm, 4-pole motor, 1500 rpm, 6-pole motor, 980 rpm.

The vibration amplitude of the vibration motor is also affected by the stiffness of the shock-absorbing spring, the damping coefficient, and the material type. Therefore, the amplitude is not quantified in many cases, and can only be estimated according to the actual application environment.

Determine the number of vibration motor stages according to the vibration equipment:

A. For screening and long-distance transportation of materials, a 6-stage vibration motor is used.

B. For feeding and dehydrating the materials, a 4-stage vibrating motor is used.

C. For vibrating the material and activating the silo wall sticking to the silo, a 2-stage vibrating motor is used.

2. Determine the number of vibration motors

Determine the number of vibration motors according to the form of vibration machinery

A. The linear vibrating screen and mining vibrating screen are equipped with 2 vibrating motors.

B. Circular vibrating screen and rotary vibrating screen are equipped with one vibrating motor.

C. The inline sieve is equipped with 1 vibrating motor or 2 vibrating motors.

3. Determine the Vibration Motor Exciting Force

Calculate the excitation force of the vibration motor according to the weight of the vibration machine. The greater the power of the vibration motor, the greater the excitation force, and the excitation force is expressed in KN (kilonewton).

A. According to the structure of the vibrating machine, the parameter vibration weight G (KG) of the vibrating machine is obtained.

B.Calculate the required excitation force Fm (KN) according to the vibration weight G, the required amplitude S and the motor speed.

C. According to the number of vibrations, excitation force, and the number of vibration motors, the model of the vibration motor can be determined.

D. The excitation force of the vibration motor is not at full load when it leaves the factory, and it is generally adjusted at 70% of its maximum excitation force. This can prolong the life of the motor bearing and avoid heating of the motor coil, so as to achieve the best use effect.

E. If the excitation force of the selected vibration motor is too large, it will not only increase the equipment cost but also cause damage to the vibration machinery.
