What Reducers Are Generally Used In Mining Equipment?

Reducers play a vital role in mining equipment. They convert the high-speed power of electric motors or internal combustion engines into low-speed, high-torque output to meet the operating requirements of mining equipment. When selecting a reducer, it is necessary to determine the appropriate model and specifications based on the specific mining equipment and operating conditions.
Commonly used reducers in mining equipment
1. ZD, ZL, ZQ, ZHLR, NGW, and NBD series reducers: These reducers are suitable for low-speed, high-torque transmission equipment. They reduce the speed of electric motors, internal combustion engines, or other high-speed power sources by meshing a small gear on the reducer’s input shaft with a large gear on the output shaft.
2. Helical gear reducers (R, S, K, and F series): These reducers are designed based on a modular system and feature low energy consumption, superior performance, high transmission efficiency, low vibration, and low noise. They are suitable for special low-speed applications and can be configured with any gear ratio based on the required parameters.
3. Reducers are widely used in mining equipment, their primary function being to control the equipment’s operating speed. Due to the wide variety of reducer types, the appropriate reducer type is selected for each mining equipment based on its specific operating conditions and requirements.
